Okay so the other day I did a post on the above topics and sadly I pressed the delete button and my silly internet decided to go back onto my dashboard without saving! (grr) Anyway just giving you an insight to things I’m changing in my life!
Hair
So, Last weekend I decided to take out my senegalese twist. I was so bored of them.. they were itching alot, my hair was growing fast so the twists were pushing out..overall they just looked really messy. I took them out and rocked a curly style the next day, I wasn’t really happy with the way my hair looked so I decided that after I had finished uni on the Monday I’d go to the hairdressers to get a trim. I went to the hairdressers that day and asked for a wash, treatment, steam, blowdry and trim. Once I had my wash I went under the dryer for about 15minutes with the treatment in my hair steaming off the split ends. When I was done I sat in the salon chair and had my blowdry; my hairdresser told me I needed more than a trim since my hair was in a bad condition. I wasn’t too sure I wanted a ‘cut’ because I hadn’t seen my hair that long in a while and really loved the length of it nearly touching my boobs. So I cut my hair up to shoulder length and I must say it looked even better than having it longer. When it was long you could see that my hair was split and it was all uneven and lifeless, after the cut my hair looked really thick and healthy.
I’m happy with my hair cut, I’ve had so many compliments on how ‘perfect’ and healthy my hair looks.
Healthy eating and exercising
As you may or may not know, recently I’ve been sticking to a plan of healthy eating, eating alot of home cooked meals with a lot of vegetables. Previously I’ve been really bad with what I eat, being a big KFC lover and wanted it at least 3 times a week. Having started university I realised healthy eating will give me brain energy and keep me motivated and energetic as well as looking good. I’ve seen changes in myself and the way I feel which really makes me happy.
I also started an exercising plan which has helped the way my body feels for example easing some pains I feel in my muscles. I do not want to lose weight but want to simply tone my body…I always get complimented on the shape I have but feel the way it used to look was much better. Anyway I’ve been doing some exercises which have been working my abs, triceps, legs, gluetus maximus and often end my workouts with a zumba fitness workout! I must say its more fun than work, so ladies you should definitely try it! I use youtube videos and use a lead that plugs in to my tv from my phone so I can watch it on the big screen.
Healthy eating and exercising also promotes hair growth read more (http://www.ehow.com/how-does_5731048_exercise-increases-hair-growth.html)
So I hope that helps, If you are looking to be on the same plans as I am let me know so we can share tips etc.
